At Four Elements Hotel Amsterdam we believe that comfort and responsibility go hand in hand.
That is why we choose, with pride, the high-quality, sustainable linen from Blycolin, including the soft Haline towels, stylish duvet covers and comfortable bed linen.
Everything is carefully selected from Blycolin’s “Pure Eco” line: made from 100 % organic cotton, certified according to GOTS and Fairtrade. That means: no pesticides, fair labor conditions and a gentler world, for our guests and for the planet.
But it doesn’t stop there. Blycolin is actively committed to a sustainable textile chain, from the cotton plantation to the final wash.
Since 2015 the company has offset its water use via Made Blue, resulting in: more than 164 million liters of clean drinking water given back, over 2,200 people provided with drinking water, 1,149 tons of CO₂ saved, and 1,642 tons less plastic waste.
Also in production and maintenance sustainability is a priority. The washing processes are optimized for low water and energy consumption, and used linen gets a second life through circular initiatives such as ReusedRemade, where, for example, old sheets are transformed into reusable bags.
Since 2020, all table linen in the collection has been GOTS-certified. And with innovative lines like Andante, which combines up to 80 % sustainable cotton with recycled polyester, Blycolin continues to pioneer.
For us, as a sustainable hotel, the choice is clear: Blycolin’s linen fits seamlessly with our mission. Guests enjoy comfort, softness and quality, with the assurance that every detail is chosen with care for people and the environment.
Soft on the skin, gentle for the planet - that is sustainable luxury at Four Elements Hotel.
